A hot day here in paradise. We ran down to Lisbon this morning with the trade winds and are now 42 miles from Cape St Vincent with a further 180 miles to Gibraltar.
Wind died late morning and we started the motor and relaxed with cold drinks, good food and sunshine clothes.
A little excitement during the afternoon when the wind picked up and we launched the multi-coloured cruising chute but after an hour we were back with the iron horse.
All is well with the crew.
We have sailed 824 miles and reckon we have about 500 more to go.
