Approaching ‘home’ port, 21st June 2009. 37:21.08N 01:26.59W

2300hrs Sunday 21stJune

Tina and Tony have just come on watch for the last time before arriving at their new ‘home’ port of Mazarron near Cartagena.   Flat calm (again) and we are motoring along on a dark but warm night.  Some great sailing earlier today in some good breeze.   We plan to anchor in a nearby bay and then rest up before mooring up at Mazarron on Monday morning where we will have Tina’s mum and dad, Joan and Ron, to meet us – a long anticipated moment – very special.

We have had a excellent voyage down here to the Med.  Lucky with the weather even if we have had to motor too often for our liking.  We still have enough food on board to do the whole trip again – Tina’s provisioning has been amazing – finished the last of the salads this evening which is not bad after 10 days at sea!

That’s all for now folks.
