20th September, the crew of Tioram had an early morning swim before lifting the hook and motoring/ sailing the 20 N miles to Palma Nova bay.
We had several attempts to anchor in the thick weed and Tony did the honourable thing—- jumped in and checked the hook was in properly so we could leave the boat and go ashore.

Jackie, John, Tony and I took our leaky dinghy to the shore, with wet feet, wet trousers—and finally the outboard giving up— so lots of paddling— but a nice evening had by all—soothed by vino.
