Cala Estanyol, Ibiza. 25th-26th September. 38:59.30N 001:33.12E

On 25th September we untied our lines from the marina at Andraitx and quietly motored away from our friends yacht called Mabi Two.
At 08.15, the early morning haze hung in the air with golden sunlight illuminating the coast to our stern, it was a treat.    We sailed away from the protection of Mallorca into a very rolly cross sea.  Plenty of wind but in the wrong direction so unfortunately we were motoring again.
We sailed past the eastern tip of Ibiza, past the island, Isla Tagomago, whilst looking for calas (bays) with good protection from the swell.   In the lee of Ibiza the swell finally eased to slight and in good daylight we continued the 57 N miles to anchor at 18.00 in Cala Estanyol, just north of Santa Eulalia, Ibiza.
We enjoyed a calm evening and night at anchor.
