Hi all,
Well how did the seafarers and ‘sailors of old’ manage….that s what I want to know.
Because all I can say is thank goodness for satellite weather forecasting.
We keep saying that the wind will ease when ‘ summer arrives ‘ , but this IS summer!!
The wind blows stronger around the straits between North Sardinia and South Corsica making this a fab sailing area but at the moment the locals are saying the weather is different this summer.
So we have taken shelter in the marina with a strong maestrali forecast, the wind has blown 30 plus true knots all day on 30th and touching 40 knots true.
