Hi all,
We slipped from La Maddalena and sailed across the Straits of Bonifacio and into the natural harbour. We got a great spot on the harbour wall. Always a nerve racking, nail biting experience with Tony threading our way going astern into these tiny moorings. Sometimes squeezing between bow to bow anchors. Its not possible to reserve spaces under 20m and the mariners wont help, only passing helpful people or other yachties. Today we got a good spot, stern to the wind, backing into the mooring, arriving at 13.15 before the chaos of the later arrivals. Once safely tied up, Bonifacio is always a really fab experience by day and the citadel by night.
